Senior Citizens Employment and Training Program provides job placement and services for mature workers age 55 and older. The program works in partnership with Eau Claire Job Center to provide one-on-one job-seeking skills and places eligible workers in part-time work or classroom training to enhance employability skills.

Supported employment facilitates competitive work in integrated work settings for individuals with the most severe disabilities (i.e. psychiatric, mental retardation, learning disabilities, and traumatic brain injury) for whom competitive employment has not traditionally occurred, and who, because of the nature and severity of their disability, need ongoing support services in order to perform their job. Supported employment provides assistance such as job coaches, transportation, assistive technology, specialized job training, and individually tailored supervision.

Workforce Resource is an administrative entity of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in Eau Claire County. Workforce Resource provides intensive employment and/or training services and follow-up to a wide range of eligible participants with employment barriers. The program administers employment and training resources and programs. Goals are to aid the economically disadvantaged and dislocated workers to become productively employed and to involve local business and government in that effort, while furthering the economic development of West Central Wisconsin. Also administers youth programs for ages 14-21 based on eligibility.
